the stream

In this stream there are bodies of stone and tears that light sets apart from water. Eyes in bright ripples are sunken in sorrow as flowing dark silk covers graves led astray. Sometimes, after dusk, hide rocks in decay, twisted evidence of witless, petty drown clowns. What a view! A sparkly stream in the moonlight... but no one ever wonders how many fascinated souls it swallowed. Shh! Only the stones know.
